Hello Potomac Middle School! My name is April Johnson, and I'm very excited to be working with you as an administrator for the 2023–2024 academic year.   Prior to joining the administrative team at Potomac, I worked as an assistant principal at a middle school in the Boston Public Schools. I've been an educator for 30 years, and over that time I've taught elementary, middle school, and ESOL classes in the United States and the United Arab Emirates.

In my spare time, I watch movies, read, and travel. Some of my favorite places to travel are Tanzania, Bahrain, Bermuda, and the United Arab Emirates, to name a few.

Once more, I'm happy to be a part of the PTMS team and will work hard to make sure that every one of our students has a wonderful school year full of academic and social progress.
