Welcome PTMS Panther Families!

Thank you so much for showing interest in joining the Potomac Middle School PTSO. We are so excited to be supporting the students, teachers, and parents this school year. For the 25-26 school year, we need new board members, volunteers, and supporters.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the PTSO, we are a volunteer organization of parents, teachers, administrators, and support staff dedicated to ensuring that the students at Potomac Middle School have what they need to succeed. The PTSO is busy each year, planning exciting activities and events for the school year.

However, WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Everything we do is volunteer-based and we are looking to you to help us! Please consider donating, volunteering, and/or becoming a member of our PTSO today! We need additional board members and volunteers! Attend a meeting. You are able to join us virtually on the second Thursday of every month. During our monthly meetings, we discuss, plan, and set goals for the year. We look forward to meeting families, parents/guardians, grandparents, teachers, and other school staff who would like to get involved. We believe it is important that we do all we can to enhance our children’s learning environment. So, we look forward to meeting you, hearing your thoughts and ideas, and sharing ours with you.

The PTSO offers three levels of membership ranging from $15 to $25 (value of over $35), depending on family size. The memberships include perks for the whole family. Please inquire for more information.

• 8^th Grade Graduation Ceremony
• 8^th Grade Picnic/Dance
• End of School Year Events
• Teacher/Sports Team Requests
• Back to School Night Dinners for Teachers
• Teacher Appreciation Week
• Custodial Appreciation Week
• Monthly Teacher Appreciation Events
• Schoolwide Events like “Boo Grams and Cupid Grams”
• Talent Show(s)
• Movie Night(s)
• Concession Stands
