Dear Parents and Guardians,
February is here! We hope you all enjoyed our unexpected “snow‑cation” and had some time to rest and recharge. As we return to our normal routines, we want to reaffirm that we are back, focused, and ready to dive into teaching and learning with renewed energy. Our staff is committed to ensuring students transition smoothly back into academic expectations and start the quarter strong.
February is a busy and exciting month for our school. We will be catching up on key assessments, including Momentum Math, and beginning our annual WIDA ACCESS assessment for our multilingual learners. We are also proud to celebrate Black History Month with meaningful lessons and activities that honor the achievements, culture, and contributions of Black Americans. In addition, students will participate in our Semester 2 Reset Assembly, which will reinforce behavior expectations, highlight academic goals, and set a positive tone for the remainder of the year.
This newsletter is jam‑packed with important updates, events, and reminders, so we encourage families to read it closely to stay informed. As a reminder, students in 6th and 7th grade will keep their iPads for next year, so please help us ensure devices remain in great condition. Be mindful of damage to the iPad, case, and charging cords, as these items are essential tools for learning and costly to replace.
Thank you for your continued partnership. We are looking forward to a productive, engaging, and inspiring month ahead!
