VEX Robotics teams advance to World Championship with impressive state wins

Three Prince William County Public Schools won top-level awards at the 2019 VEX/VEX IQ State Championship in Doswell, Virginia. The teams from these schools will advance to battle in the VEX World Championship in Louisville, Kentucky this April.

Dominating the VEX IQ Challenge, Triangle Elementary Team 3615C earned both the Excellence Award, the highest award presented, and the Teamwork Champion Award.

At the VEX middle school level, Benton Middle School teams 1231C and 1231D were named Tournament Champions, qualifying them for the World Tournament in April.

Two teams from Forest Park High School - 4303A and 4303C – earned their World Championship invitation with their semi-finalist placement at the state competition.
