Good Morning All.  I just sent out the Zoom log in information to your HUB/Parent or Student View emails. It will be today from 1-2 pm. Hope to see you then.  If you can't make it, please try very hard to make next weeks meeting as that will be our last one for the school year.  This week the meeting is to check in and make sure I have answered all questions regarding any work during this time.

Good morning one and all!  I hoe you had a wonderful Memorial Day weekend.  This weeks project is basically a catch up week.  Review all the previous assignments and work on them.  This gives you additional time to be extra creative.  You can even go back and look at a work of art you have done and then re-do it or enhance it. Remember to email me a photo of your work so that I can see how amazing you are. Don't forget about last weeks assignment/challenge.  I need the images and your permission to create a workbook to send to Sentara and Nursing homes. You guys are wonderful.  We only have two more meetings to go so let's rock this!!

Hello again,
It was good to see those of you who could access Zoom this am.  You can use a variety of devices for ZOOM.  You can use a laptop, smart phone, iPad, kindle, etc. You can join just using voice and not video if you would prefer. I'm getting better at this whole technology aspect.  If you can't Zoom for whatever reason, that's fine. Send me an email to touch base and make sure that I've addressed any concerns that you may have. A gentle reminder, this Friday is the last day of quarter 3.  Remember, I'm here for you and if you need creative ideas to work on or want to bounce/ping pong ideas I'm here too.

Take care and miss you all,
Mrs. Shrum

Good Morning Everyone!
I'm doing my best to set up a Zoom Meeting for us.  Zoom is available for both smart phones and your computer to download.  I need to put together a list of protocols and expectations for these meetings so that we are all safe. I will be posting and emailing those to your school email accounts via the HUB. For today's session we will have to kick it old school and meet via emails. Once I have Zoom up within county regulations I will send you an invite via your school email. Please use the meeting ID number and the password provided in that email for that day.  I can't wait to see you all via Zoom.

Today we will be touching base via email and I will be available for any questions that you may have for this quarter.

Chat with you soon

I hope you enjoyed your spring break.  We rested, I cooked a lot, did a little bit of my own artwork as well as some spring yard work and we started a 1000 piece jigsaw puzzle together.

As I stated on my front page, we will be having a 90 minute Quarterly Encore time once per week starting this week.  I have decided to divide that time up into three 30 minute sections, one for each grade level.  I will be posting that schedule both here and on my front page. I will be submitting weekly artwork
assignments
on the files and documents page. Most of those are via a word document with some visuals and hyperlinks to help with understanding.  As work is completed please email me at my school email: shrumme@pwcs.edu with attached images of your work for me to review and sent back comments. I'm looking forward to seeing how creative you can be as an artist!

The schedule below will be held on Tuesdays each week. I will be posting additional information on how to connect during that time.

I've added additional files to the Files and Documents tab.  I will also be emailing these documents via the HUB to all those with an active email address. The new documents have two assignments that the whole family can be a part of and enjoy being creative together.  As I have said previously email questions and attached images for input from me. As I find out more directives from the county I will be letting you know. I hope all of you are safe and healthy and know that I miss you.

You will find under the Files Tab to your left instructions for working on art at home while we are out of school during this time. This is a continuation of what we have already learned just prior to leaving school.  Follow the directions and we will review your work when we return to school.  If you would like to explore other creative art projects please internet search for them.  I've sent out lots of options via Facebook to other educators. Once I figure out how to link them here I will do so as additional options for you.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to me via email if you have questions: shrumme@pwcs.edu

I hope that all of you are doing well.  I miss you and hope that you continue to learn and create during this time off from school.

Take care of each other and we will see each other soon.
